The Okawa Prize, the Okawa Publications Prize and Research Grant Presentation Ceremony was held on March 5, 2025 at ANA InterContinental Tokyo.
The 2024 Okawa Prize was awarded to Dr. Kenichi Iga (Honorary Professor, Institute of Science Tokyo / 18th President of Formerly Tokyo Institute of Technology) and Dr. Robert L. Byer (William R. Kenan Jr. Professor Emeritus of Applied Physics, Stanford University).

The 2024 Okawa Publications Prize was presented to "Ground Penetrating Radar -Subsurface Measurement Technology by Electromagnetic Waves -" (authored by Dr. Motoyuki Sato, published by Corona Publishing Co., Ltd.) and "Digital Game Studies" (authored by Dr. Hiroshi Yoshida, published by University of Tokyo Press).

20 researchers from Japan, 5 researchers from China and 3 researchers from South Korea received the Okawa Research Grant this year.

With the aim of advancing further development of information technology and promoting international academic and cultural exchanges, the Okawa Foundation will continue the activities of awarding prizes and research grants.
